Getting Started: A Tour of Aqqrue

Learn your way around the Aqqrue workspace and understand where you'll spend most of your time.

Written by Simon • Your Aqqrue Sherpa

This guide gives you a quick tour of the Aqqrue workspace so you know where everything lives before you start using the platform.

The interface is intentionally simple. Rather than navigating through dozens of menus, most of your work happens in one place. Once you understand the main sections of the product, you'll be ready to start using Aqqrue effectively.

Home

The Home screen is where you'll spend most of your time in Aqqrue

In the top left, you'll see the client you're currently working on. Clicking the client name lets you switch between clients without leaving your workspace.

Chat

Chat is the primary way you interact with Aqqrue.

Instead of telling the AI how to do something, tell it what you're trying to accomplish. Whether you're preparing a cash flow forecast, processing vendor invoices, or

investigating an issue in the books, start by describing the outcome you want.

Aqqrue will figure out the steps and guide you through the rest. It may feel different at first, but after a few conversations, it becomes the fastest way to work.

Tasks

As you use Aqqrue, you'll notice that some workflows repeat.

Instead of writing the same prompt every month, you can save that workflow as a Task.

Tasks are reusable AI workflows that capture your firm's process. Aqqrue generates them from the way you work, and you simply review and refine them over time. Think of them as living SOPs that improve with every use.

The next time you need to execute the same workflow, just run the task.

Integrations

Aqqrue connects with the tools you already use, including QuickBooks Online, Gmail, Outlook, Stripe, Square, Shopify, banks, and many others.

We'll cover each integration in more detail later in this Help Center.

Masters and Records

When you connect QuickBooks Online, Aqqrue automatically imports your accounting data.

Your chart of accounts, customers, vendors, employees, classes, and items become available throughout the platform. Your bills, invoices, expenses, journal entries, and other transactions also appear inside Aqqrue, using the same terminology you're already familiar with from QuickBooks.

Transaction Statuses

Transactions move through three stages inside Aqqrue: Review, Ready, and Posted.

Review and Ready exist only within Aqqrue, giving you a place to prepare, review, and approve work before it reaches your books. Once you're satisfied, you can export it to QuickBooks, where it becomes Posted.

You can think of Aqqrue as a staging area for your accounting work - a safe place to collaborate with AI before updating your ledger.

Next up

Now that you're familiar with the workspace, it's time to start using it.

In the next guide, we'll cover the most important concept in Aqqrue: how to think about working with AI. Once you understand that mental model, everything else in the product becomes much more intuitive.
