Working with Records

The Records page is where you'll find all of the accounting transactions imported from QuickBooks Online.

Rather than navigating to the Records page manually, we recommend starting in chat. Simply describe the transactions you're looking for, and Aqqrue will open the relevant records for you.

For example:

Show me all sales transactions since November 30, 2025.

Aqqrue will retrieve the matching records and display them in a table directly within your conversation.

Record types

Aqqrue uses the same transaction types and terminology as QuickBooks Online, making it easy to find what you're looking for.

You'll find dedicated record views for expenses, sales transactions, bills, invoices, journal entries, transfers, and other QuickBooks transaction types.

Understanding transaction statuses

Transactions move through three statuses:

  • Review – Work that is still awaiting approval.

  • Ready – Approved work that is ready to be exported.

  • Posted – Transactions that already exist in QuickBooks Online.

For posted transactions, you'll also see a link back to the original QuickBooks record, making it easy to move between the two systems.

Working with record tables

The transaction table is fully interactive. You can resize columns, hide columns you don't need, sort the data, and apply filters to narrow your results.

You can also select one or more transactions to:

  • Add them as references to your conversation.

  • Export approved transactions to QuickBooks.

  • Perform bulk actions such as reclassification or review.

Selecting transactions and adding them as references is one of the easiest ways to tell Aqqrue exactly which records you'd like it to work on.

Let chat do the filtering

Although the Records page includes filters for transaction type, customer, vendor, account, date, amount, and more, chat is often the faster option.

For example, instead of manually applying several filters, you can simply ask:

Show me everything that hits the Square Clearing account during the last 12 months.

Aqqrue applies the appropriate filters and opens the matching records automatically. For more complex requests, chat is almost always the easiest way to find what you're looking for.

Records as artifacts

Whenever Aqqrue opens a table inside chat, it creates what we call an artifact.

Think of an artifact as an interactive view of your data that lives alongside your conversation.

You can have multiple artifacts open at the same time and switch between them using the tabs above the chat. This makes it easy to compare different sets of transactions without losing your place.

What's next?

The Records page is the foundation for many Aqqrue workflows, including transaction reviews, bulk reclassifications, cleanups, and investigations.

As you continue through the Help Center, you'll see how Records and chat work together to help you complete accounting work much faster than traditional bookkeeping software.
