Overview
Rather than starting from a blank slate, Aqqrue analyzes the client's books, identifies potential issues, creates a structured cleanup plan, and helps your team execute the work with AI assistance. Throughout the process, your accountants remain in control and review all recommended changes before anything is exported back to QuickBooks.

How cleanup projects work
A typical cleanup engagement follows four stages:
1. Collect & Prepare
Start by connecting:
The client's QuickBooks company
Supporting documents (such as statements and reports)
Your firm's cleanup SOP (or one of Aqqrue's templates)
Aqqrue automatically organizes client documents and highlights missing information before work begins.
2. Diagnose
Aqqrue analyzes the QuickBooks data alongside supporting documentation to identify potential issues that require review.
Examples include:
Transaction categorization problems
Duplicate entries
Reconciliation exceptions
Revenue recognition issues
Clearing account discrepancies
Industry-specific bookkeeping problems
The diagnostic provides your team with a structured view of the cleanup scope before making changes.
3. Execute
Once you've reviewed the findings, Aqqrue generates a cleanup plan and helps execute individual tasks.

Nothing is exported back to QuickBooks until your team approves it.
4. Transition to Recurring Bookkeeping
