Aqqrue can read the locations or departments configured in QuickBooks Online, just as it reads classes and other accounting masters. You can use this when creating new transactions or assign locations/departments to transactions that already exist in QuickBooks.
Note: This works in the same was as classes.
Feature availability (latest)
Location support is currently available to all Aqqrue clients. If any QBO entity that is onboarded to Aqqrue uses locations/departments, this will automatically be enabled for that entity in Aqqrue.
If you don't see the location feature enabled, please contact us and tell us which Aqqrue entity or organization should have the feature enabled.
Assign a location to an existing transaction
You can ask Aqqrue to find an existing QuickBooks transaction and add the appropriate location.
For example:
Show me all journal entries.
Once Aqqrue displays the journal entries, you can ask: Add the location New Jersey to the June 29 journal entry.
Aqqrue will:
Find the transaction in QuickBooks Online.
Add the selected location or department.
Return the updated transaction for your review.
Wait for your approval before exporting the change to QuickBooks.
Review the proposed update and click Approve. You can then select Export to QuickBooks to update the original transaction.
You can also open the exact transaction in QuickBooks Online directly from Aqqrue if you want to review it there.
Add a location to a new transaction
Locations can also be included when asking Aqqrue to create a new transaction.
Simply specify the location or department in your prompt.
For example: Create this journal entry and assign it to the New Jersey location.
Aqqrue will include the location in the proposed transaction and present it for your review before anything is exported to QuickBooks.
Confirm the location in QuickBooks Online
If necessary, run a report for the relevant location in QuickBooks Online. The updated journal entry or other transaction should appear in that location’s report after it has been exported from Aqqrue.
